  • Ok when it comes to Apples products personally I have had a really good experience with them. You say that their batteries die in one year but I have found the that to be the opposite and I have had my 30gb ipod for 3 years and the battery life is fine. I have only had one problem with it which was a manufactures defect witht he sound and they replaced my ipod with a refurbished one no questions asked even though it wasnt under warrenty. So I think if you take proper care of your electronics then you can extend the life time of the product. On another note I do agree tehre should be some sort of program that encourages recycling of old products that should be pushed by these electronic companies. I was highly suprised to see that the minearls they make electronics out is pretty much like blood diamonds! This is horrible and needs to stop! I doubt many people actuatlly know about this problem and we need to get out there and spread it and make the companies change their buyin habits!
