  • Ben and Jerry's has always done a good job emphasizing their 'green-friendliness.' Two things they've gotten attention for lately are their new climate-safe ice cream freezers and a new unbleached container, which doesn't release dioxins. The Greenfreeze technology doesn't release hydroflourocarbons - chemicals which are a major part of global warming - and has already become standard in European freezers.
