  • The impact of one of the most visible brands in the water world was revealed in a recent Mother Jones article (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/09/fiji-spin-bottle). Fiji’s tropical themed square bottles are featured on high profile tv shows and carried by some carbon concious movie stars. According to Mother Jones the company also happens to have access to the only clean aquifer in the area while locals depend on water that “has been deemed unfit for human consumption.” There are also connections to the island nation’s corrupt and repressive government.
